Children are especially welcome

They can sit on many of the animal sculptures (provided the vegetable oil with which they are dressed has dried) but I must ask you of course to be sure that the youngsters don’t fall or hurt themselves, the little ones especially need care, lest they bump their heads when crawling underneath things and as we are meant to say in these absurdly litigious times, everyone comes into the garden at their own risk

By the way the world record for the number of children able to sit on one pig was set this year by Histon and Impington Junior School on their annual visit; it is eleven (including the boy on the tail). I am also proud to say that the lion record is also held by Histon (thirteen).
